Is it fame at last. "Saw you on the TV" is the new greeting round Camden when I am out browsing around the shops. It's surprising how many people watch the telly and look up from their knitting in surprise when they see their neighbour in such a cultured program. It's a cough and you miss me bit in the Edinburgh Festival show so as I say it's surprising how many eagle eyes are around. The play is over,but every so often I have a little try out. Do I remember my lines? Yes my favourite ones. Like little old friends not to be cast aside. The play is over but still in my heart. It's back to the day job though now.
